Creating meaningful weddings that reflect your love...
I am a Unitarian Universalist minister, and my congregation is the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Ashland, OR. Unitarian Universalism is a religion which honors wisdom from varied religious traditions and spiritual practices. Striving to create a world where all people experience peace, justice, and equity is central to Unitarian Universalism. (more information at www.uua.org)
I’ve been performing weddings for over 15 years, originally as a lay minister in Atlanta, GA and now as an ordained minister. Officiating at weddings is a true joy for me. I attended seminary near Boston at Andover Newton Theological School. A large part of my studies involved inter-faith work with the Jewish students and faculty of Hebrew College; so inter-faith weddings are one of my specialties.
I am still a bit of a newlywed, married for 3 years. Having planned my own wedding in the last few years, I can relate to what couples are experiencing in the excitement and stress before a wedding. We are now the proud parents of our baby son, loving the family we have created together.
Couples for whom I have been the wedding officiant describe me as:
Warm and friendly
Insightful and understanding
Organized and efficient but still laid back
A dynamic and inspiring speaker
Fun to work with
"Leslie was a huge help in creating the service just right for us"
"We thought the counseling would be boring and hard, but it was actually fun and very helpful"
"It seemed she knew us better than we knew ourselves sometimes"
